About The Position

The beautiful Doubletree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown - Fort Shelby is an all-suite property located in the heart of downtown Detroit! They are adding a Room Attendant to their housekeeping team in the New Year! This is a great opportunity to join our award-winning brand and be the heart of our housekeeping department by ensuring our guests suites are amazing and our guests enjoy their time with us at the Doubletree!

Requirements

• 2+ years professional cleaning experience
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Clean guest suites as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform guest turn down service, as needed
