About The Position

As a Room Attendant - you'll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming' for our guests after a busy day at work - creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last-minute work done.

Requirements

• Physical fitness is important as the role involves being on feet most of the day.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and push/pull heavy objects.
• Ability to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
• Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math.
• Flexible attitude to shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are always at their best and make them special and memorable for guests.
• Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
• Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed.
• Organize supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
• Reunite items with owners and log any lost and found property.
• Wear uniform with pride.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities.
• Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown duties as needed.
