The Lounge Server plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to guests at our hotel. This position involves taking food, beverage, and cocktail orders in accordance with hotel brand standards, ensuring that all orders are entered accurately and promptly into the POS system. The Lounge Server must coordinate effectively with the bartender to guarantee timely service and maintain the highest quality of customer service at all times. The ideal candidate will approach all guests with sincerity and courtesy, striving to exceed their expectations and ensure total guest satisfaction. In addition to taking orders, the Lounge Server is responsible for performing cashier duties that align with both Stonebridge Companies and franchise standards, ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction. The server must set up their station thoroughly and correctly, keeping it well-stocked and clean. They will also be required to complete necessary side-work as per the schedule and possess a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items and beverages, including their garnishes, contents, and preparation methods. This knowledge enables the server to confidently answer any questions guests may have. Utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance check averages is an essential part of the role. The Lounge Server must also adhere to local and national liquor laws, ensuring that they check guest orders for accuracy before serving. Regular attendance, punctuality, and compliance with the dress code are critical to maintaining the high standards of personal appearance and grooming expected in this position. The Lounge Server will also attend required meetings and training sessions as directed by management, and must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages according to local state laws.
