About The Position
Bonitz of Georgia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a family-owned and operated business since 1954, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality commercial roofing services across Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The Roofing Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing field operations, ensuring quality control on all job sites, and maintaining effective communication with field employees and subcontractors. This position requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. In the field, the Roofing Superintendent will conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturer specifications. Daily communication with field employees and subcontractors is essential to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise. The Superintendent will also be responsible for ordering materials, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and field equipment. Weekly progress meetings and hand-off meetings with Foremen and subcontractors will be part of the Superintendent's responsibilities to ensure smooth project execution. In addition to field operations, the Roofing Superintendent will engage in various office operations, including professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, assisting with the submittal process, and reviewing estimates and production drawings. The role also involves assembling and monitoring budgets for labor, creating weekly schedules, and coordinating material layouts while adhering to budget constraints. The Superintendent will be expected to perform all other duties as assigned by their supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the projects and the company.
