Position Overview The Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, inspecting roofs for storm damage, and helping homeowners navigate the insurance restoration process from inspection through project completion. This is a field-based sales role that requires strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to close deals.
Requirements
- Experience in roofing sales or insurance restoration preferred
- Knowledge of the insurance claim process for roofing
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a competitive mindset
- Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs safely
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and customer-first attitude
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through door knocking, networking, and referrals
- Inspect residential roofs for storm and hail damage
- Educate homeowners on the insurance roofing process
- Assist homeowners in filing insurance claims when appropriate
- Meet with insurance adjusters during inspections
- Present roofing solutions and close signed agreements
- Maintain communication with homeowners throughout the project
- Request customer reviews and referrals after completion
