About The Position
Allied Construction Services is seeking a skilled Roofing Shingler to install, repair, and maintain asphalt shingle roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Requirements
- 1+ years of roofing or construction experience preferred
- Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Nice To Haves
- Experience with residential roofing systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashing, and ventilation systems
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces
- Measure and cut materials to fit roof specifications
- Inspect roofs for damage and recommend repairs
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
