About The Position

As a Roofing Service Technician & Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality roofing repairs while setting the standard for safety, craftsmanship, and job site leadership. Beyond the roof, you’ll be the trusted point of contact for our clients—identifying needs, driving service opportunities, and partnering with our sales and management teams to turn leads into results. This is a fast-paced, impact-driven role for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a winning team.

Requirements

  • Vast knowledge of roofing applications, systems, and repair methods.
  • Excellent customer relations skills for service and potential sales
  • Ability to assess potential customers’ roofing needs in a professional manner
  • Valid Driver’s License (MO Class E/IA Class C or equivalent)
  • OSHA 10 certified
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal need for direction and oversight
  • Ability to obtain security clearance on military job sites
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of experience in roofing (preferred)
  • Experience working with metal roofing, coping, and the above, listed materials
  • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
  • Willing to travel
  • Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
  • Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, walking
  • Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day)
  • Overtime and weekend work

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer roofing needs and provide recommendations
  • Manage service assignments, schedules, and customer communication
  • Generate and follow up on service leads
  • Perform roof inspections and share maintenance insights
  • Coordinate job updates with sales and management
  • Maintain service vehicle and support warehouse inventory
  • Organize multiple service jobs and track hours accurately
  • Log jobs and complete work orders in Buildertrend
  • Submit completed work orders for payment
  • Perform small repairs as needed
