What You'll Do as Roofing Sales Rep: Sell commercial roofing services, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and restoration systems, in a roofing sales role. Prospect for new business through cold calling and follow up on existing leads. Meet with commercial clients, conduct roof assessments, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions. Learn & sell Conklin's commercial roofing systems, including American-made restoration systems with long-term warranties. Gather project details, develop proposals, present solutions, and close sales. Manage client relationships through ongoing communication and follow-up. Travel locally (within ~50 miles) and spend most of your time meeting with customers. Our Ideal Roofing Sales Rep: Experienced: At least 1 year of sales experience required. Construction background preferred; roofing experience is a plus. Willing to learn roof inspections and solutions through training. Strong Communicator: Speaks clearly and confidently, explains solutions in a way customers understand, and builds trust throughout the sales process. Driven & Confident: Self-motivated, persistent, and resilient. Comfortable hearing "no," staying positive, and continuing to pursue new opportunities. Customer Focused: Connects easily with customers, asks good questions, listens well, and adapts to different personalities. Computer Skills: Comfortable using a CRM (JobNimbus) and familiar with Microsoft Office tools. Active: Able to carry, set up, and climb ladders and perform roof assessments safely.
