About The Position

Seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Manager to recruit and lead our competitive sales team. You’re our ideal candidate if you have experience in door to door selling, leading/coaching sales contractors as well as recruiting to build a team. This is a permanent, full-time, year-round position leading sales contractors who sell door to door seasonally. You will work in the office and in the field with your team. Requirements

  • Experience in door-to-door sales, including canvassing and in-home sales.
  • Proven ability to recruit and hire sales representatives.
  • Experience leading and coaching sales reps/independent contractors.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Comfortable using sales software, reporting tools, and performance metrics.

  • Familiarity is a plus, but your ability to drive adoption and accountability matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and hire sales representatives by identifying strong candidates, encouraging team referrals, interviewing applicants, and successfully bringing top talent onto the team.
  • Lead a structured onboarding process by facilitating each rep’s first day, completing onboarding requirements, and guiding new hires through initial goal-setting and expectations.
  • Train new sales teammates on the company Sales Rep Playbook, sales script, and required software systems, while coordinating field training through assigned mentors.
  • Manage and coach the sales team through regular one-on-one meetings, review of canvassing and activity reports, and leadership of weekly sales meetings.
  • Drive performance and accountability by ensuring consistent use of company systems, tracking activity and results, and coaching reps to improve their sales effectiveness.
  • Build a strong team culture by recognizing success, supporting rep development and retention, and leading key team meetings.
  • In this role, you will be a manager/leader for Thrive teammates including the Sales Rep team and a Sales Team Assistant. You will co-lead the Branch office with the General Manager who manages the production team.
