About The Position

The Roofing Project Manager position involves overseeing commercial roofing projects, including estimating job costs, preparing bids, and ensuring project specifications meet industry standards. The role requires collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Commercial Roofing Estimation
• Working knowledge of commercial roofing documentation
• General contracting knowledge
• Ability to write and review contracts
• Experience with EDGE estimating software is a plus
• BS/BA in Construction, Engineering, or Business is a plus
• Knowledge of various roof systems, materials, construction processes and theories
• Ability to identify, correct and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Developing accurate and complete job estimates.
• Identifying project labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, written specifications and related documents.
• Conducting site visits and attending pre-bid meetings to understand project scope.
• Conducting review and take-off of blueprints.
• Soliciting bids from subcontractors.
• Gathering subcontractor pricing and conducting scope review.
• Evaluating subcontractor bids to bid documents and plans to ensure that the full scope of work was considered.
• Considering subcontractors' ability to perform the work.
• Calculating costs of subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials.
• Collaborating with the client to help them achieve their project cost budget through consideration of plan details, alternate material/finishes and building methods.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and the Pre-Construction team to maintain relationships with existing clients and subcontractors.
• Producing P&L reports.
