About The Position

Photon Brothers is a leading solar and roofing contractor committed to delivering top-tier customer service, quality craftsmanship, and sustainable energy solutions. As we expand our roofing operations, we’re seeking a Roofing Project Manager with strong field knowledge and sales experience to bridge the gap between initial customer engagement and project execution. The Roofing Project Manager will oversee the lifecycle of residential and light commercial roofing projects—from initial site assessments and customer handoffs to material planning, crew coordination, and post-install inspections. This role requires a candidate who has worked in the field, understands roof systems inside and out, and can confidently interact with customers and internal teams alike. Ideal candidates will have a background in roofing sales or estimating and will be comfortable translating that expertise into practical, on-the-ground project management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of roofing experience, with hands-on field exposure (install, tear-off, or service preferred).
  • Experience in roofing sales, estimating, or project scoping.
  • Strong knowledge of steep-slope and low-slope roofing systems (asphalt, tile, metal, TPO, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with project tracking tools (e.g., JobTread, AccuLynx, JobNimbus, or similar).
  • OSHA 10 (or 30) certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years' driving experience and a clean driving record for last 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site roofing assessments to validate sales scopes and identify any installation red flags.
  • Own the project timeline from contract handoff to completion, including permitting, scheduling, and final walkthrough.
  • Coordinate with field crews (installers, subcontractors) to ensure timely and quality work.
  • Communicate with internal departments (sales, operations, service) to align project expectations.
  • Track job costs and ensure projects are completed within budget and timeline.
  • Resolve issues proactively—weather delays, change orders, material shortages, etc.
  • Partner with sales consultants to review customer expectations, scope accuracy, and roof condition notes.
  • Recommend scope revisions, upsells, or safety enhancements where needed.
  • Support pre-sale site visits or assist with complex proposals when roofing expertise is needed.
  • Perform mid-project and final inspections to verify workmanship and warranty compliance.
  • Train crews or new hires on best practices and job site safety.
  • Represent the company professionally at all customer touchpoints.
