About The Position

We are building a growing platform of top-tier roofing and exterior services companies across residential, commercial, and institutional markets. Our companies deliver high-quality workmanship, strong safety standards, and exceptional customer service. As we expand, we are looking for a seasoned Roofing Operations Advisor to help strengthen field operations, production, estimating, and project management across the platform. This role is ideal for a roofing expert, former operations leader, GM, COO, or industry consultant who wants to apply their experience in a flexible, advisory capacity while shaping the next generation of roofing businesses.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in roofing, waterproofing, exterior construction, or building envelope services.
  • Experience leading multi-crew operations, large-scale roofing projects, or a full P&L.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, safety programs, field logistics, and customer communication.
  • Ability to diagnose operational inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communicator who can coach teams and work in a flexible, part-time advisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Advise leadership on roofing operations, production workflows, jobsite management, and safety best practices.
  • Improve estimating accuracy, job costing, materials planning, labor efficiency, and project profitability.
  • Support the design of systems for production planning, scheduling, crew management, and QC.
  • Provide insights on industry trends, roofing materials, product innovations, and competitive dynamics in residential and commercial roofing.
  • Coach and mentor project managers, foremen, and operations leaders to increase accountability and execution.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on scaling operations, expansion opportunities, SOP development, and process improvement.
