Requirements

Construction, labor, landscaping experience is helpful but not required.
Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite every day.
Valid CA Driver's License with a clear driving record (MVR) is strongly preferred.
The nature of the work requires performance of heavy work such as lifting, carrying, and moving tools, equipment and supplies weighing up to 110 pounds for distances up to 100 feet; constant bending, reaching, pulling, climbing, balancing, and squatting is included.
MUST be comfortable working at considerable heights and pitches often in adverse weather conditions

Bilingual English and Spanish, not necessary but a plus

Responsibilities

Properly prepare job site for roofing, solar, or gutter installation or repair.
Follow all safety instructions and guidelines.
Able to remove all shingles/tile and nails.
Develop strong teamwork working on tearing off crew and collection/dumping crew.
Able to safely operate and/or support vehicle movement and dumpster delivery for forklifts, trailers, and trucks.
Inspects existing roof surfaces for dry rot or damaged plywood and conduct basic wood repair/replacement.
Measure, cut, and properly install all metal work. This includes drip edges, rake edge flashings, valleys, and pipe flashings.
Install and fasten underlayment across the entire roof.
Support with basic roofing, solar and gutter instillation. This will include nailing tiles, feeding shingles and lying flat roof materials.
