ROOFER
About The Position
Roofer reports to Foreman Substation and Tower line Construction. Perform maintenance and construction to Division buildings and properties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Inspect roofs and repair various .items pertaining to building such as flashing, coping, gutters, etc. Perform various maintenance work, concrete. carpentry, waterproofing, caulking, and shop work as needed. Maintain roof decks, tools and equipment such as gas fitted kettles, pumps, hoses and pipes. Perform necessary paper work such as time and mileage reports, inspection sheets, etc. Mix mortar and apply to parapet walls, coping stone, concrete roof decks, etc. Operate Division vehicle and equipment. Perform other duties as directed. THIS LIST OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE AND MAY BE SUPPLEMENTED AS NECESSARY.
Requirements
- Must have 3 to 5 years of Residential Roofing.
- Must have more than 1 year of Commercial Roofing Experience.
- Must have skills and knowledge in roofing.
- Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence.
- Must successfully complete Placement/performance Exercises.
- Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 20 pounds or more of force on a regular basis.
