Stainless and carbon-steel car bodies take shape around you — each one destined to carry thousands safely. As a Quality Inspector I, you’re the last word on fit, finish, and function: Carry out critical, non-routine visual, dimensional, test, and functional inspections across components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies, and materials. Set up specialized equipment and interpret data from multiple sources to execute complex inspection procedures . Perform first article inspections on parts and assemblies when needed. Apply established quality checks and document findings with precision. Identify and manage discrepant material , understand part flow, and drive resolution actions.
