About The Position

The Rolling Stock Operator is responsible for performing maintenance tasks on rolling stock equipment, ensuring high availability and reliability of production equipment. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing improvements to enhance production quality while minimizing breakdowns. The operator plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and managing time attendance for their team.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in a related field
• 2+ years of welding experience in lieu of an associate degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotational shift pattern

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of Continental Tire experience
• Forklift driving license
• Manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on rolling stock equipment
• Identify possible breakdowns and change parts
• Provide equipment improvements to increase quality and production levels
• Ensure high availability of rolling stock equipment
• Keep the workplace clean and organized daily
• Perform planned maintenance (preventive & predictive) on rolling stock equipment
• Report detailed work in SAP-PM including work order confirmations and spare parts reservations
• Support Continental Business Teams
• Take ownership of personal safety and report unsafe situations to the supervisor
• Ensure accurate time attendance for self and team
