About The Position

McKee Door Sales of Columbus Inc. is seeking a Rolling & Sectional Door Installation Technician. This role involves installing rolling and sectional doors, dock equipment, and operators that keep businesses running. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, working at heights, solving problems, working with tools, and taking pride in what they build. Military veterans are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• 1+ year of installation or construction experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs, <3 points)
• Can lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights
• Comfortable working outside in the elements
• Know your way around a tape measure and some basic math
• Can pass a drug screen and background check
• Willing to learn and grow with a team that’s got your back

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors, operators, and dock gear like a pro
• Double-check site conditions to make sure everything’s safe and ready
• Talk with superintendents, managers, or building owners, no guesswork here
• Handle some light framing or adjustments when needed
• Keep your truck stocked and tools ready to roll
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and tape measures like a boss
• Take safety seriously; toolbox talks are part of the gig
• Keep the team updated on progress, issues, or when something’s in your way

Benefits

• $20.00–$41.50/hr, depending on your experience
• Weekly pay + guaranteed 40 hours (with overtime available!)
