As a Rolling Mill Operator at Gerdau, you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for maintaining equipment operations, ensuring safety standards, and conducting quality inspections. Maintain equipment operations and safety standards.
Conduct bar quality inspections.
Ensure all buckets are emptied as needed to allow continued operations.
Maintain cleaning schedule and assist maintenance as needed.
Assist in saw blade changes, roll changes, and inspections.
Ensure 5S area is to the standard at all times during the shift.

3 years of manufacturing or industrial experience.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including days, nights, and two consecutive weekends a month.
General math skills and advanced problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret instructions and use adjustable controls, HMI's, measuring instruments, and gauges.

Experience with heavy mobile equipment, overhead cranes, cab cranes, and torches.
