About The Position

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams, and is directly responsible for leading the electrical maintenance team to gain results in safety performance, operational reliability and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include execution of effective maintenance processes, team member training and development, identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities and project management. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• 2-year degree in an electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance expertise

Nice To Haves

• Project Management experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with Preventative and Predictive maintenance techniques
• Experience with the maintenance of industrial electrical equipment including motors, drives, process control and power systems equipment
