About The Position

The objective of the Rolling Hills Residency Director is to recruit, develop, train, and manage our Leadership Institute that develops short-term and long-term interns and residents from the Nashville area and around the country. This role will implement this plan as a member of the RHCC staff team as one who leads, nurtures, and serves the overall church body as we endeavor to fulfill the mission and vision statements of the church.

  • College level undergraduate degree; additional education is preferred.
  • Must be a professing Christian with a true calling and passion for ministry and a partner of Rolling Hills Community Church.

Responsibilities

  • Cast Leadership Institute Vision under the mission and vision of Rolling Hills Community Church
  • Build strategic partnerships with college campuses, ministries and trusted churches.
  • Continue to expand the Leadership Institute through consistent marketing and communication.
  • Lead recruiting through colleges, campus ministries, churches, and alumni.
  • Lead the interview process of all Leadership Institute applicants.
  • Provide a platform and pathways for leadership development.
  • Continue to develop and improve the structures and curriculum for development, equipping, and launching the next generation of godly, faithful, and steadfast leaders for the ministry, the marketplace, and the home.
  • Provide a life-transforming environment where emerging leaders are immersed in a Christ-centered, fast paced, and growing ministry context, with hands on experience while being invested in by passionate leaders through one-on-one and cohort settings.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for Ministry supervisors.
  • Plan the annual budget. Manage the ministry spending and budget allocations to ensure ministry stewardship, growth, and goal achievements.
  • Continue to explore, research, and implement best practices of intern and residency programs.
  • Continue to recruit and equip host homes for Leadership Institute participants needing housing.
  • Provide regular feedback and evaluation for Leadership Institute participants using both formal and informal means of measurement that align with the overall core values of Rolling Hills Community Church.
  • Continue to include both staff and outside voices of leadership from ministry and the marketplace.
  • As we seek to shepherd the whole person throughout the entire life-cycle, it will be of the utmost importance that each person on the team supports one another and connects the dots from high school to college to emerging adulthood and beyond.
