About The Position

The Roller Operator position will require extended travel and work throughout the Midwest (e.g. Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas). $22.75/hour Daily overtime after 8 hours Per Diem Benefits Other Benefits Include: Highly competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage Company provided life insurance and employee assistance Voluntary benefits at open enrollment include: Health savings and flexible spending accounts Short term and long-term disability Critical illness Accident Identity theft Additional life insurance Retirement plan with company match Primary Function: The Roller Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment on a construction jobsite in a safe manner. Roller Operators will work with GPS systems including Leica and Trimble. The Roller Operator must also complete prestart checks, assist with fluid checks and maintenance, securing the equipment, cleaning, and other duties as directed by the Foreman or Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen with a “Negative” result.
  • Must be able to complete a post-offer physical with a “Capable” result.

Responsibilities

  • Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policy, as well as manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Performing daily maintenance & safety checks.
  • Cleaning equipment as required.
  • Ensuring that equipment is secured at the end of the shift.
  • Must foster harmonious interactions and relationships and maintain basic standards of civility in the workplace.
