About The Position

We are seeking safety-conscious Roll Off Drivers to operate trucks for solid waste collection in Altamonte Springs (Orlando). The role involves driving specified routes, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of experience directly related to the duties specified.
• Basic knowledge of truck components for pre-and post-trip inspections.

Nice To Haves

• Waste experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Roll Off Truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Load and unload refuse, often without helpers, and operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse.
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
