About The Position

Clean Harbors in Kimball, NE is seeking a Roll-off Driver for their new incineration unit. This entry-level, full-time position offers a competitive wage of $26.50 per hour with overtime opportunities. The role involves performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. The company emphasizes safety and reliability, looking for individuals who are committed to these values. The position requires Class A-CDL driving experience and involves working 4 rotating 12-hour shifts per week, both days and nights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience with industrial or manual labor.
  • Roll-off, Class A CDL driving experience required.
  • Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • DOT Training.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to climb on and off forklifts.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waist.
  • Climbing up and down vertical ladders.
  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force.
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical.
  • Ability to perform physical fitness tasks such as 10 pushups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Background check, drug screen, and physical required.
  • Valid US driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Operates industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklifts.
  • Performs general labor throughout the facility to prepare materials for the incineration process.
  • Ensures the safety of themselves and those around them.
  • Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury.
  • Follows all standard operating procedures.
  • Other duties as required.
