About The Position

The Roll-Off Driver, under direction of the Roll-Off Supervisor, distributes, collects, and empties company issued commercial waste receptacles for new, current, and former Tiger Sanitation customers. This role involves performing and documenting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehicles, collecting and distributing commercial waste receptacles as indicated on daily route sheets, and actively communicating any and all changes to the daily route sheet to the dispatch team. The driver is responsible for notifying the supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on route, reviewing and completing daily work orders, and ensuring accurate completion of route sheets and VCRs by the end of each day. The position requires the ability to proficiently navigate, in forward and reverse motion, driveways, alleyways, empty lots, high traffic roadways with potential limited overhead and compact areas. Drivers must be able to operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws, and be proficient in operating a vehicle with a manual transmission. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate a DOT vehicle
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Ability to proficiently operate a DOT vehicle in a reverse motion
  • Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community

  • Possess a valid Class A or B Driver’s License
  • 2 years of professional commercial Roll- Off driving experience

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • Drivers who are hired from March 26, 2025, through September 26, 2025, who meet the qualifications listed below, will be eligible for a $3,000.00 sign on bonus.
