About The Position

The Roll-Off Operator will be responsible for overall daily operation and construction. This position requires keeping the truck clean and organized, reporting any equipment safety deficiencies, and being punctual and ready to work when scheduled. The operator must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and work well with others. They will demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment, lead and direct subordinate personnel, and manage the pick-up and drop-off of bins at various locations. The operator will also be responsible for disposing of materials at approved disposals and maintaining bins, ramps, and equipment in good working order. Cross-training and working among other divisions may be required, and the operator must successfully complete selected Operator Qualifications (OQ’s).

Requirements

  • 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Valid Operating CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement required
  • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical and fit for duty
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and perform numerous tasks requiring physical agility and manual dexterity
  • Maintain acceptable personal hygiene and professional appearance
  • Pass safety screening for fit tests and pulmonary test
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and drive up to 600 miles a day
  • Complete all safety requirements of the job
  • Attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Manager

Responsibilities

  • Dispose of materials and wash out at approved disposals
  • Maintain bins, ramps, and equipment in good working order
  • Cross-train and work among other divisions when needed
  • Complete selected/required Operator Qualifications (OQ’s)
