About The Position
We are looking for a careful Roll Clamp Forklift Operator to move large paper rolls to the production floor or unload railroad cars. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. As a Roll Clamp Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be to unload large rolls weighing approximately 2000 lbs. to 5000 lbs. from railroad cars and move them for storage or shipment. You will also be tasked with identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies. Additionally, you will transport raw materials to production workstations and inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs, ensuring safety by performing regular maintenance. Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs is essential, as is compliance with company policies and legal guidelines. You will also help maintain a safe and orderly environment within the facilities.
