Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
  • Extensive background in law enforcement, with preference given to retired law enforcement officers.
  • Experience in federal law enforcement and a tactical background is preferred.
  • Meet the USSS security requirements of this solicitation to include a background check and drug screening.
  • At least two years' prior experience in managing or leading a team of employees.
  • Verifiable skills related to customer service, administration, multi-tasking, record keeping, and scheduling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that foster teamwork and promote safety.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policies and procedure manuals.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage schedules, timekeeping records, and payroll records.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage approximately fifty role players daily.
  • Ensure all role players have the required information to participate in physically demanding activities in support of training scenarios.
  • Assign Role Players to scenarios, typically scheduled Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • Ensure role players are prepared for their roles and be prepared to become a role player yourself.
  • Forward the scripts and training objectives to the assigned role players and ensure they understand their roles prior to the day of the exercise.
  • Be available on a flexible time schedule.
  • Ensure all role players are briefed by the instructor on specific requirements upon arrival for training scenarios.
  • Communicate with individuals in a customer service capacity.
