Your day to day as a ROI Specialist As a Full Time ROI, Specialist at Southwest Health System, Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing the release of medical record information with precision and care under the supervision of the HIM Manager. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve receiving and logging requests from various entities such as patients, healthcare providers, and legal representatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing aligned with SHS policies and state and federal laws. You'll be the gatekeeper of confidentiality, verifying authorizations and maintaining security regulations for record access. Your diverse clerical duties include scheduling appointments for record reviews and covering for colleagues as needed, all while collaborating effectively with other departments. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
