About The Position
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Behavioral Health team. The position involves processing requests for medical records and itemized bill copies efficiently while ensuring accuracy and providing exceptional customer service. The role is crucial in safeguarding patient privacy by validating written authorizations and ensuring that only authorized individuals obtain medical records and other protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. All requests must be properly entered in Epic for timely processing and tracking.
