About The Position

Equinox seeks a Rock Wall Pro for our state-of-the-art Sports Club NYC location. This position involves overseeing the rock wall areas, ensuring that all equipment is used safely, and assisting members with climbing gear, instruction, and belaying. The Rock Wall Pro will maintain a clean rock wall area, examine rock wall equipment prior to use, and store it properly at the end of the shift. Additionally, the role requires enforcing all member and employee policies, rules, and regulations, adhering to safety practices and policies, and responding to members' concerns, suggestions, and complaints in a timely, professional manner. The ideal candidate will offer the highest level of member and employee service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in rock climbing, including belaying.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• First Aid training.
• Strong desire to work in Fitness industry.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Ability to speak conversational English is required.
• Must be available and able to work at both sites Equinox E61st (330 E 61st) and Sports Club NY (160 Columbus Ave, 67st).
