That commitment has earned us recognition from Newsweek as a Best Addiction Treatment Center and seven straight Star Tribune Top Workplace awards. 1 PT opening: Sun-Mon 7am - 3pm Purpose: To provide supervision to clients that ensures their safety and well-being; to assist clients in making choices that are in their long term best interests.
Requirements
- One year freedom from chemical use problems.
- Strong ability to relate to and mentor people with life-controlling problems.
- Strong leadership skills (one on one and group situations).
- Ability to remain on task and follow through on multiple concurrent assignments with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to successfully complete background check process.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record and ability to be insured under organization's vehicle insurance carrier.
- Must possess a MN state driver's license or be willing to transfer out of state license to MN state driver's license.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an 8 hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Client Supervision: Lead and supervise clients in the program on the residential housing floor, and during all duties and activities during the course of the work shift.
- Client Transportation: Maintain valid drivers license at all times for driving Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge vehicles.
- Transport clients to all program functions.
