About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Test Technician to support daily workflow and regression testing for cutting-edge humanoid robotics systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the forefront of robotics technology, executing structured test plans, operating robots via virtual reality interfaces, and contributing to the development of next-generation robotic platforms.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent certification in network administration, system administration, or industrial controls & automation
  • Familiarity with Ethernet and basic networking protocols
  • Proficiency with Linux environments and bash shell usage
  • Experience using Jira or similar issue tracking systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to evolving test procedures
  • Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities in a dynamic lab environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating systems or devices using VR headsets (e.g., Oculus)
  • Exposure to robotics or automation systems

Responsibilities

  • Operate humanoid robots using Oculus VR headsets to execute test scenarios (e.g., object manipulation, locomotion, arm articulation)
  • Execute daily test workflows following established procedures
  • Run and monitor Python-based automated test scripts (basic to moderate proficiency required)
  • Perform tests using Linux command-line tools and bash scripting
  • Set up and manage test network connections (Ethernet, switches, IP configuration)
  • Collect, document, and report test data and outcomes
  • Log issues and test results using Jira or similar tracking tools
  • Follow detailed written procedures, verbal instructions, and informal guidance with precision
  • Support general lab operations and assist with additional tasks as needed
