About The Position

Robotic Operations is at the center of Gecko Robotics. You will spend your days supporting an international operation through maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting our robotic systems to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate across Engineering and Operations as Gecko continues to improve internal processes and the robotic platform. You will react promptly to changing situations requiring reconfiguration of equipment for specific jobs, ensuring correct equipment is sent to the inspection, with the ability to effectively communicate the changing status of equipment to all affected parties.

Requirements

  • At least 1 of the following;
  • Minimum of two years of practical experience with electro-mechanical devices
  • Associate degree in relevant engineering or technical discipline
  • Completion of technical trade school program
  • Must be a self-starter, able to maintain a high operational tempo
  • Self-confident, while able to take feedback and conduct yourself in a highly ethical manner
  • Must possess a positive attitude, rigorous attention to detail, and strong time-management skills
  • Must be able to work well with others and have communication skills that enable him/her to work with all levels of staff
  • Demonstrates grit, resiliency, and commitment to getting the job done
  • Willingness to learn from everything, including failure
  • Team player who strives to grow with the team and make each other better

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Experience working within asset management, MES, or related platforms

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company values and safety / equipment protocols
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and testing procedures on the Gecko robotic systems to ensure their successful operation in the field
  • Manage robot logistics including packing, staging & shipping to customer locations
  • Document all activities to ensure robot health and history are readily available
  • Work collaboratively to troubleshoot robotic systems as well as internal processes to optimize Gecko operations
  • Support Inventory management and shipping / receiving activities as required
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
