The Robotic Surgery Coordinator provides clinical and operational oversight of the robotic surgery program to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care. This role serves as the subject matter expert for robotic platforms, coordinating case workflows, staffing, equipment, and instrument availability. Responsibilities include robotic room setup, docking, troubleshooting, emergency undocking, and conversion readiness in compliance with AORN standards, manufacturer IFUs, and hospital policy. The coordinator manages robotic instrument inventory, maintenance, and utilization tracking, collaborates with Sterile Processing and vendors, supports staff and surgeon training, validates competencies, promotes standardized workflows, and leads safety, quality, and performance improvement initiatives. Scrubbing required if needed. This position is located at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital.
