We are looking for a full-time Robotics QE Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our advanced robotics software and hardware systems. You will play a critical role in validating our robot control stack, testing hardware integrations, and commissioning end-to-end deployments at customer sites. Our AI software products give industrial robots the autonomy to perform an extensive variety of useful tasks, and your work will ensure that these solutions meet the highest standards of robustness in real-world environments. As a QE Engineer, you will own the testing and commissioning of complex robotic systems, from cameras and sensors to containerized applications and networked services. You will collaborate with every engineering team—Mechatronics, Software, Machine Learning, and Infrastructure—to verify that our solutions are production-ready. We value candidates who are detail-oriented, thrive on improving systems, and care deeply about delivering reliable solutions to customers. You are someone who takes ownership of the validation process, communicates clearly, and can ensure a full robotic solution is delivered reliably. This position will require occasional travel to customer sites.

  • Leading testing and commissioning of robotic solutions, including depalletization and piece-picking for major brand deployments.
  • Designing, implementing, and executing test strategies for robotic systems (controllers, sensors, grippers, cameras).
  • Validating hardware/software integrations for robot motion, trajectory execution, and safety.
  • Building and maintaining automated and manual test frameworks to ensure robust system performance.
  • Collaborating with software and robotics engineers to identify issues and drive fixes.
  • Working directly with robotic hardware controllers to validate real-time system behavior.
  • Supporting deployments by troubleshooting system issues across hardware, networking, and software layers.
  • Traveling to customer sites to support Osaro robotic solutions.
  • BS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in robotics or industrial automation with a focus on testing, commissioning, and validation.
  • Proficiency in C++/Python/Rust for test harness development, scripting, and debugging.
  • Experience testing complex, distributed, multi-process software systems in real-time environments.
  • Strong background in robotic system debugging, hardware/software integration, and validation of industrial robotic manipulators.
  • Familiarity with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes), networking, and Linux-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic sensors and actuators, including cameras, force sensors, and grippers.
  • MS in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with Fanuc or other major industrial robot controllers.
  • Prior experience commissioning robotics systems in production or customer-facing environments.
  • Background in automated test frameworks for robotic systems.
  • Health, dental, vision, phone and uber stipend, and commuter benefits
  • Generous vacation time
  • Catered lunches
  • Excellent paid parental leave policy with the option for additional reduced and unpaid leave
