About The Position

In this role, you will lead the research, development, and implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies that enhance automation capabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical/control system design.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Consumer Products within an FDA or USDA manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in providing both tactical and strategic project leadership.
  • Demonstrated vision in executing new process and packaging equipment projects.
  • Proven track record in building external partnerships.
  • Willingness to collaborate across various organization levels.
  • Ability to travel 50% to manufacturing facilities across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of breakthrough technologies focusing on robotics and smart factories.
  • Research and implement new technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Analyze operational data to identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop a roadmap to deliver breakthrough technologies that significantly improve performance.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving control system issues.
  • Identify cost-effective new technology opportunities and develop business cases to support development.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and IT to align projects.
  • Engage with top management of vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors.
