About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in electrical/control system design.
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Consumer Products within an FDA or USDA manufacturing environment.
Experience in providing both tactical and strategic project leadership.
Demonstrated vision in executing new process and packaging equipment projects.
Proven track record in building external partnerships.
Willingness to collaborate across various organization levels.
Ability to travel 50% to manufacturing facilities across North America.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of breakthrough technologies focusing on robotics and smart factories.
Research and implement new technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
Analyze operational data to identify automation opportunities.
Develop a roadmap to deliver breakthrough technologies that significantly improve performance.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving control system issues.
Identify cost-effective new technology opportunities and develop business cases to support development.
Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and IT to align projects.
Engage with top management of vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors.
