  • Identify ways to enhance or create features related to localization, navigation, and/or user computer vision.
  • Develop in the Ion code base with the aid of mentors and various training materials.
  • Learn and understand how relevant existing features are implemented.
  • Program, document, test, and demonstrate the new or enhanced features.
  • Work with a cross-functional team that includes software engineers, designers, clinical engineers, and product managers.
  • Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree-seeking program at the Doctorate level.
  • Master's level students would also be considered based on specific relevant experience.
  • Expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and/or computer vision.
  • Some experience in computer graphics, such as OpenGL, CUDA, and/or Unity.
  • Some knowledge and experience with C++ or C#.
  • Market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay (paid at an hourly rate), benefits, and a housing allowance.
