About The Position

Robotics Clinical Director (Northeast) Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. What will you be doing? The Robotics Clinical Director (RCD) reports directly to the Area Vice President of Strategic Sales, The RCD is primarily responsible for driving “Best in Class” account Implementation, seamless transition, and as needed support for ALL Robotic accounts within their assigned geography both directly and indirectly through Robotics clinical team. In addition, RCD will work closely with both Capital Sales representatives and Recon sales representatives to help achieve the sales objectives across all sales territories while operating within Company policies/procedures and the assigned expense budget. The RCD & Clinical subordinates will showcase clinical and technical expertise behind CORI and related technique applications including RI Hip and future application releases. Lead market development activities behind each Robotic installation within their respective region, driving adoption on hip and knee applications across the surgeons and increasing the technical utilization of our robotic and navigated solutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of Clinical or Sales experience in the medical device industry, previous leadership experience preferred
  • Travel Requirements: within designated territory with 2-4 overnights a week. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences
  • All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialling process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the Clinical team (Robotics Clinical Specialist) in the region
  • Responsible for all new and existing Robotic accounts within their geography.
  • Act as implementation quarter back in new accounts organizing training of both SNN coverage, Acct staff, & Surgeons, marketing activities
