Meta is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer to join our Data Center Robotics Engineering team. This team is dedicated to implementing cutting-edge robotics technologies to enable highly efficient and operational safer data centers. The Robotics Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and sustaining of robotics software solutions throughout the product life cycles to enable physical automation within Meta data centers. This role collaborates closely with hardware and system engineers to ensure seamless product integration, thus optimizing operational efficiency and mitigating risks across the Meta infrastructure. The ideal candidate has proven experience in software development with focus on robotics applications. They demonstrate in-depth understanding in programming languages such as Python, C++ and have a practical experience of understanding of robotics principles including perception, motion planning, and control. They excel in designing and implementing software architectures tailored for robotic systems, coupled with a in-depth understanding of hardware-software integration. They are proactive problem solvers, thriving in dynamic environments and leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation in robotics. Their technical acumen is complemented by proven experience in communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork and efficient project execution. The candidate must possess demonstrated experience in communication, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills, plus proven engineering, program management and analytical skills.
