PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Loads and operates welding systems. Pieces weigh up to 25lbs. Make running adjustments as needed. Remove complete parts, using hoist, from system and place on conveyer for inspection. Visually conduct required quality checks of welds. Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment. Repair welds as needed. Beams weight up to 100lbs. when completed. (Hoist and conveyor line used to move completed beams.) Process repeated up to 80 times per day. Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment as scheduled. Perform machine-to-machine material handling as necessary within cell. Accurately report daily and hourly activities on MOS documents, boards, schedules and other media as required. Perform assigned daily 5S tasks. Keep machine and work area clean and free of safety hazards. Follow safety procedures and exercise safe working habits while operating the machines. Operate other material handling equipment such as Big Joes, pallet jacks, hoists, etc. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Area Facilitator.
