About The Position

Corin is recruiting for a Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician to join the Raynham team on a temporary to permanent basis. The key element of this role is to manufacture, assemble, break down, test, and service the navigation system for our OMNIBotics and Apollo lines of business. Manufacturing responsibilities will include assembly, production, material handling, soldering, and wiring harness assembly. Training will be available to ensure compliance to all manufacturing responsibilities. The key responsibilities of the Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician is to: Follow all the relevant SOPS and Work Instructions for the effective assembly of the Corin Technologies, in line with demand planning and quality. Complete all the relevant quality documentation with adherence to QMS requirements in line with to the necessary ISO30485 and GMP standards. Escalate issues and improvements to your line manager. Train new team members on how to manufacture, calibrate and maintain Corin’s robotic devices. Continually develop work instructions and SOPS in line with technological developments Work with engineering and quality to make process improvements. Assemble electronic components to create a complete product EG) Apollo and Omnibotics devices. Solder fine wire harnesses Conduct mechanical assembly and panel wiring. Install dedicated software and firmware using windows and MacOS operating systems. Perform in process inspection of completed components and the Apollo and Omnibotic system and peripheral devices Calibration testing of the Omni Bot and Balance Bot systems. Calibrate and test the Camera system ready for installation on the Apollo station. Measure voltages, currents and resistance using multi-meters or bespoke test equipment. Work with quality to verify the system and sign off on the relevant quality documentation. Prepare Balance and Omni Bot devices ready for shipping. Run diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues of returned units from the hospitals and medical centers. Run weekly equipment and inventory checks within the electrical manufacturing unit ensuring everything is present and fit for purpose

Requirements

  • Previous Electrical Assembly Technician at Corin
  • Experience in intricate soldiering for cable / wire harness assembly.
  • IPC J STD 001 Soldering certification – achieved.
  • Ability to follow strict work instructions with zero error.
  • Starter / finisher
  • Have a lean manufacturing / continuous improvement approach to working.
  • Ability to follow and train team members on manufacturing documentation and practices.
  • Would suit individual who has a high interest in computer assembly and / or electronics

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical engineering qualification would be ideal but not essential.
  • Have instigated manufacturing / continuous improvement initiatives.
