Requirements

  • Physical Ability: Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and stand for an entire Ten -hour shift. Monday Through Friday
  • Technical Skill: Experience with press brakes, robots, or similar machinery is highly valued.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, Math and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of focus on safety, quality, and precision.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well with a Team
  • Safety Orientation: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate automatic press brakes and robotic systems to form metal components. Produce Metal Parts
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret detailed blueprints, Read Job Orders specifications, and process sheets to determine correct dies and required dimensions.
  • Precision Adjustment: Set, tighten, and adjust clamps, hold-down bolts, and shims to achieve required tolerances and dimensional accuracy.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance and routine preventive tasks on the equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products, often using forklifts or hand trucks.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor machinery (press brakes/robotics) for proper function and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and quality standards.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products, often requiring lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including quality check sheets
