Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process required
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
  • Fork truck licensed or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift, slide and shake heavy gauges of material.
  • Ability to read and use measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
  • Ability to identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job listed below.

  • Must be able to meet vision requirements as outlined by standard occupational guidelines
  • Job requires both written and oral skills in communicating with others and receiving instruction
  • Repetitive motion with upper body; fine manipulation – using fingers to push keys

Responsibilities

  • Operates automated machines and hydraulic press brake machines.
  • Positions production materials and tooling and maintains proper dimensions according to specifications.
  • Operates various equipment, including controllers, and programs according to production documentation.
  • Meets established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Complies with all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to team leader or appropriate resource.
  • Ensures that products meet CADDY quality standards.
  • Inspects work to ensure proper dimensional requirements are met
  • Assists Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.
  • Takes action and notifies appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.
  • Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
  • Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
