About The Position

Robot Specialist and New Technologies role is responsible for setting up, updating, maintaining, and optimizing automated technologies to ensure quality control and enhance the packaging process. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards while driving innovation to exceed customer satisfaction. DESCRIPTION Ensure all safety, food safety, and quality standards are consistently adhered to throughout the production plant Proactively identify and address potential risks to maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analyses for complex issues in the process and automation systems. Complete inspection reports with precision and attention to detail Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, parameters, and quality metrics Inspect and monitor packaging parameters in alignment with established standards and tables Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive manuals, recipes, packaging tables, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to ensure consistency and standardization. Perform mechanical and electrical inspection to new technologies equipment Develop strategies for predictive and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Collect, record, and analyze statistics related to the performance and use of new technologies. Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement process improvements. Ensure all quality parameters are met during every line change or equipment adjustment. Provide support for smooth transitions to maintain production efficiency and quality. Execute all tasks with a sense of urgency, ensuring high levels of accuracy and precision. Adhere to and maintain housekeeping standards in the work area to ensure a clean and organized environment. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance departments Provide training and guidance on the correct use of new technologies to relevant personnel. Perform additional responsibilities or tasks as directed by management to support the organization's goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience with industrial robotics, automation systems, advanced manufacturing technologies or packaging equipment is a plus.
  • Proven experience in robotic system setup, programming, and maintenance, including troubleshooting and optimizing performance.
  • Experience with vision systems, sensors, and integration of automation into production workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and control systems used in industrial automation.
  • Previous involvement in process validations, equipment commissioning, and new technology implementation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Competence in operating basic tools and measuring devices (e.g., tape measure, scale).
  • Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, carrying.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications in robotics systems, industrial automation, or programming (preferred).
  • Familiarity with major robotic platforms (Yaskawa) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IoT (Internet of Things) solutions and data analytics for predictive maintenance and efficiency optimization.
