About The Position

The Roaming Leasing Specialist is a relationship-driven, sales-focused professional responsible for maximizing occupancy and ensuring a high-quality living experience across multiple Newbury Living communities. This individual must be adaptable, proactive, and passionate about delivering results. You’ll work closely with property teams to meet leasing goals, strengthen resident satisfaction, and maintain Newbury’s reputation for exceptional service and care.

Requirements

  • Energetic and personable, with strong communication and closing skills
  • Motivated by goals and able to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up habits
  • Comfortable traveling to multiple communities weekly (valid driver’s license required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in leasing, sales, or hospitality (preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all business in accordance with Newbury Living policies and Fair Housing.
  • Support leasing efforts at assigned communities by: Managing inquiries, scheduling and leading tours, and closing leases. Highlighting community features and effectively communicating value. Maintaining accurate CRM and leasing records.
  • Drive occupancy and revenue by following up consistently with leads and executing leasing best practices.
  • Support resident retention efforts by promoting positive experiences and assisting with renewal campaigns or resident events.
  • Quickly adapt to new properties and team environments, learning each community’s unique features and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with Property Managers and Maintenance Teams to ensure apartments are ready for move-in and that the community presents a welcoming environment.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor properties to position each Newbury community effectively.
  • Provide feedback and observations to leadership to support continuous improvement in marketing, operations, and customer service.
