Halff is seeking a Roadway Engineer with a Texas EIT Certification or PE License, or the ability to acquire either within 6 months of employment, to join our Transportation Engineering team in Houston, TX. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in roadway and transportation design, specifically in PS&E and schematic design. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing transportation design on roadway and highway projects for TxDOT and other agencies. This role offers the opportunity to be trained and mentored by an experienced Roadway/Transportation Professional Engineer, allowing for professional growth and increased responsibility within the firm. As a Roadway Engineer, you will work under the guidance of a Team Leader, contributing to the development of roadway design and PS&E/schematic design. Your role will also involve reviewing transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy, reporting on project progress, collaborating with clients and other consultants, and assisting with business development activities.
