About The Position

Ciorba Group is looking for a full-time Roadway Project Engineer with experience in Phase I to join the team! The selected candidate can work out of any of the following locations: Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, Crown Point, IN. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000- $150,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 8-12 years of roadway design experience
• Illinois PE
• Strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects
• MicroStation, GEOPAK and OpenRoads proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Indiana PE a plus
• Experience on Illinois DOT projects
• Experience on Illinois County or Illinois Local Agency projects a plus
• Experience on Indiana DOT projects a plus

Responsibilities

• Preparation of project reports, preliminary engineering design, and cost estimates
• The candidate will supervise other engineers and technicians to achieve completion of project plans
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
• Review and checking of engineering work completed by others
• Maintaining positive client relationships
• Mentor staff engineers
