About The Position

Our West Palm Beach, Florida office is looking for a Civil Roadway Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our Roadway team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with civil design programs such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, etc.
• 10+ years relevant design experience with a civil engineering consulting firm
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Responsibilities

• The candidate will develop concepts as well as work on preliminary engineering and final design for projects.
• This would include developing geometric alignments, profiles, surface modeling, cross sections, grading design, drainage, superelevation, construction details, work zone traffic control, erosion control, and signing and striping plans.
