About The Position

If you're a student looking to gain experience in Civil Engineering, consider DRMP. While classes and labs are a HUGE part of becoming an engineer, the real-world experience and hands-on application you gain through interning will solidify your decision to become an engineer and provide clarity to you path. Internships can last anywhere from 3 months to 24 months - depending on mutual interest and availability. Through DRMP’s college internship opportunity, students will gain practical experience while earning an engineering degree and exploring a potential career path in Engineering. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors of Science degree program in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD CADD platforms

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of preliminary and final engineering drawings for civil projects
  • Prepare and check quantity tabulations
  • Participate in engineering alternatives analysis by completing well-defined tasks including collecting and analyzing data, performing calculations, and evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions
