BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is seeking a talented Roadway Engineer Intern to join their team. The internship is within the Critical Infrastructure team, which has over 80 years of experience in designing and delivering critical infrastructure globally. Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university have completed typically 1+ year of studies in a major Engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Assist with the geometric design of highways and roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, superelevation diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans.
- Perform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.
- Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.
- Provide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.
